Paper Doll

Taken inside the Whaley House...

They've got the place set up to be as creepy as possible, which is a little annoying if you take ghost hunting seriously (which I do.)

The Whaley's had three daughters and although two of them did in fact die in the house, they were all full grown women at the time of their deaths (22, 47 and 89 respectively.)

Setting the rooms up as though small children are haunting them is a little unnerving. True, their infant son did die there but he was much too young to play with paper dolls or ride a tricycle or any of the other ridiculous things they decorate these rooms with.

This is supposed to be one of the most haunted houses in America and it is the only house in California alongside the Winchester Mansion to be deemed "officially haunted" by the US Commerce Department so there is no need to make it seem excessively creepy.

I had an experience at this house, and I can tell you it wasn't because of paper dolls or really old toys. It was because it is fucking haunted and that is scary enough!


NOW, ALL THAT ASIDE!

I did take several snapshots in the house. They all turned out rather, meh. Nothing special. I did like how this one turned out however, so I'm uploading it.

I didn't capture any ghostly activity until after hours when I took a snapshot through the window and caught the figure of what appears to be a woman just sitting in the doorway. I won't upload it here because it isn't very artistic but if you're interested in seeing it, I'll gladly show you. Just note me.
