December Before You Know It

The days have ticked by so slowly.

So how can it be that it's already Autumn?

I used to love this time of year.

Now it comes bearing sorrow and vivid memories.

How were we to have known?

And it'll be December before you know it.

That day is coming soon.

That day we all sat down together for the last time.

That day will never be the same for us anymore.

What do we do now?

How are we supposed to carry on?

And it'll be December before you know it.

And it will never again be happy.

There won't be so many faces around.

There won't be the cheer and the laughter.

So how will we carry on when there's still so much left unsaid?
